KZNSA Gallery

The KZNSA Gallery is a beautiful gallery space in Durban, Kwazulu-Natal. The gallery had a site, and used it to promote exhibitions, but they found it difficult to work with and the exhibitions were not optimally showcased. After several discussions, the gallery were able to find funding to upgrade to a more functional and attractive website.

Our primary objective in creating this website was twofold: first, make sure that the exhibitions looked fantastic. The art is what attracts people to the gallery, and they wanted to place it front and centre. Second, it needed to be easy to add details and images of new exhibitions to the website. The gallery shows change regularly and the staff needed to update the website almost weekly.

We created a stunning feature block for the front page of the site that shows images from the current and upcoming exhibitions. In the CMS, an Exhibitions Manager makes uploading content and images for new exhibitions a cinch. Specialised gallery managers display the artworks beautifully and ensure that the site works smoothly.
